Northern clubbing comes to London! Cloud Nine at The Enclave Soho brings you an ideal blend of fully charged pop music with the best in commercial house, inspired by the bars and clubs of the northern gay scene in Manchester and Leeds!

Music is provided by DJ Jonny Red (Soho Revue Bar, The Scala, G-A-Y, Ku Klub). The concept behind Cloud Nine was born from noticing a difference in the sound of gay club nights in London and what is commonplace on Canal Street (Manchester) and other northern gay villages.

Co-promoter of Cloud Nine, Chris Gould says: “we’ve always noticed a greater sense of fun when visiting bars and clubs up north, with crowds feeling less self-conscious about what they’re dancing to. We want to emulate that down here in London, where pop nights can focus too much on R&B, and house music nights can be too hard sounding… The Enclave is the perfect place to do that!”

DJ Jonny Red says: “We want people to come to Cloud Nine and leave the attitude at home! It’s going to be a real easy-going party with the emphasis on the music policy being about having fun and not worrying about being ‘cool’. You can expect plenty of hands-in-the-air moments…loads of songs you can sing along to. It’s going to be very funky, uplifting and clubby but not too hard. It’s what clubbing is all about!”.
